Triplex Power Free conveyor

Conveyor type Triplex is specially developed for transporting eccentric loads suspended from a revolving beam. The construction of the system allows the conveyor tracks to absorb torque from the eccentrically loaded revolving booms.
The system consists of 2 C-tracks juxtaposed with 400 mm distance, in which the trolleys roll.

The chain profile is built above and in the centre of the 2 trolley tracks. All 3 tracks are positioned to avoid contamination of the suspended products.

The cardanchain, which runs in the chain track is equipped with pulling dogs that are positioned so the suspension beam can run lengthwise in the conveyor system.

The trolley is equipped with a tow shackle, which can be engaged and disengaged from the pulling dogs on the cardan chain. It is also equipped with a heavy duty turning device, which locks into position at 90° intervals. The suspension beam is fastened to the turning device, and can be supplied with a max. length of 3.000 mm.

If the trolleys need to be accumulated in a buffer zone, a 90° turning station is installed, which automatically positions the suspension beams perpendicular to the conveyor track.
The 90° turning station can be installed on a straight track or in a bend.
